Editorial policy
How HealthSathi chooses topics, checks facts, reviews health content and corrects mistakes.
HealthSathi publishes practical, general wellness information about healthy eating, everyday habits, gentle movement, sleep and healthy Indian food. We write for a general adult audience. We do not diagnose, treat or give personal medical advice.
Who writes our content
Every article and recipe names its author, with a profile page. [Owner to confirm: the people who write for HealthSathi and their relevant experience.] We only describe qualifications that we have verified.
How we choose sources
Health claims are supported by sources listed at the end of each article, such as the World Health Organization, national public-health agencies and peer-reviewed research. We read every source we cite and record when we accessed it. We avoid claims we cannot support, and we do not publish "detox", cure or guaranteed weight-loss promises.
Our review workflow
- Draft: an author writes the piece and lists their sources.
- Editorial review: an editor checks clarity, accuracy against the sources, tone and safety.
- Qualified review (where needed): content that gives specific health guidance is reviewed by a person with relevant, verified qualifications before it is published. If no qualified reviewer is available, the content stays unpublished.
- Published: the page shows when it was published and when it was last meaningfully updated.
- Periodic review: published guidance is scheduled for review, by default every 12 months.
[Owner to confirm: whether AI tools are used in drafting or translation, and how a person checks that output.]
Translations
Translated pages are reviewed by a fluent human reviewer before publication. We do not publish unchecked machine translations of health advice. When the original changes, its translations are flagged for review.
Independence
Advertising and product sales never decide what we write or recommend. Ads are clearly labelled. See the advertising disclosure.
Corrections
If we make a mistake we fix it promptly and, for meaningful changes, add a note to the article. See the corrections policy.
